Looks good. Friends came over and loved it! My husband and I have put together furniture many times before - this was a challenge! Took about 3 hours. We mistakenly put the base on backwards but I’m ok with that - less dirt to get under. We didn’t have the electric screwdriver - that would’ve made it easier but we would’ve had to be careful not to break the wood - it says that on the directions. The cabinet design is wonderful and came together over a few hours with minimal issue, it could be completed quicker with a second person. The only issue is that the cabinet is much darker in person and there are several areas where the paint appears to be dripping and looks unfinished. I do like this wooden trash bin that I purchased. It arrived quickly and was packed neatly and in perfect condition. I am only giving it 4 stars due to the description in the "product overview" on the website. It says the bin has a tight closing lid. It does not. The sides do seat nicely, but the front, below the lid has two decorative cut-outs that will allow any would-be odors to escape. It should have registered with me upon ordering. Even though the website description in the product overview says it has a tight closing lid, the photo of it clearly shows the two cut-outs contradicting the description. Wayfair, you need to fix your product overview description, as it isn't accurate. Im keeping it though. It's attractive, the price is right and the assembly was a piece of cake. I like this piece- would have been nice to have a shelf in the cabinet space. It took me hours by myself to put it together with all the parts but the instructions were very easy to follow along to. Not bad. It took me 2.5 hours to put together alone. If I had someone else help me it would’ve easily been half the time. The finish has a sheen to it, which is nice. I opted to not use the deodorizer function because I do not have an outlet nearby, so I removed that piece that would’ve held it in place. I replaced the hardware, set marble slabs on top, and so far I like how it came out. It feels sturdy and I think it looks nice overall. Two things: the drawers catch and get stuck a bit when you pull them out and the cabinet doors don’t sit flush to the frame. But for the price, I can deal with it.. Laura. Brooklyn, NY.
