I hope writing this review helps someone else who may be on the fence. The color is beautiful and neutral, and the material feels high end. The extendable backs are cool. During the day we keep it smaller because I prefer the look, but for lounging or movie watching we push them back, it’s easy to do, feel sturdy, and the mechanism works seamlessly. I love this sectional! I'm not sure I should have gone with the cream color with dogs and grandkids but we can all sit together for conversations, movies and games. It's comfortable and ha three recliners. It also has a cup holder and wireless charger plus two plug in outlets for devices. It's a great size and can be configured however it works for you. I cannot say enough good things about this sectional! I spent months looking at couches and was extremely hesitant to order one online without sitting on it first. The Brinsley ended up being exactly what I was looking for. The taupe color is absolutely beautiful in person. It’s the perfect warm neutral and works beautifully with the rest of our room. The corduroy fabric is incredibly soft and cozy, and the couch feels substantial without looking bulky.
