Absolutely beautiful in person. Very easy to build, took me about an hour before work. Used in my son’s room. The blue is a wonderful shade suitable for boys and girls. First time online bed buyer and super happy with my purchase! In the midst of a bedroom remodel. Got king size in natural, arrived next day, no damage, had all parts, didn't take too long for two people to put together - appx 30 min; however, I think the spacers weren't the correct size because we ended up with two slats that weren't accounted for at the end, but we just respaced slightly and it was fine. I really appreciated the velcro for the slats so they don't move around when spacing - someone thought that through! You will also need a drill to screw in the slats. Headboard and footboard are not completely solid, but sturdy and the height is good for us. Also, purchased the Stearns and Foster Lux Estate Mattress and it fit perfectly. I was hesitate to think how large when my daddy took it out of the box. It was fun while he put in together for me. It is very bigger now that I lay on it! He said is no problem and very easy to do.
