Very easy to put to together. It is a very sturdy bedframe for the price. The “espresso” color is fairly accurate in person vs what you see online in the pictures. The only reason we give this bedframe 4 stars is because one of the posts came damaged as seen in the second picture. Additionally, instructions were pretty straightforward. There was one moment where it isn’t straightforward, as it doesn’t mention there is not a pre drilled hole for a screw for the middle portion of the frame. The bed frame has been pretty sturdy since we put it together, and had no issues putting our premium king sized mattress on it. Very happy with the bed. Looks great in our guest room. It is not as bright/reddish orange color as pictured but more brown but beautiful. It is very well made, solid wood and easy to put up but HEAVY. We did the white glove delivery and glad we did. You have two options on the bed rails. In standard position the part your mattress, springs etc sit on is 8" from the floor. You can flip the rails and the part it sits on is now 13" from the floor. We have gone with that option and using a solid support system (plywood or bunkie board) rather than the slats. This eliminates the need for box springs. With a 14.5 inch mattress the height from the floor is now 28 inches (add 1/2 inch for support system) and comes just above (by about 3 inches) the bottom of the solid part of headboard leaving no gap for your pillows, remotes, etc to slide through.
