But we really like this low console for its solid MCM effort and great price compared to the real stuff. It fits perfectly in our rather small space and the quality is as good or better than we expected. We accented it with our MCM lamp and 1964 Harman Kardon record player. This was fairly easy to put together, but I do have a lot of experience with this type of furniture with less than optimal directions. The only the problem I had was with getting the drawer slides lined up. I finally got the top drawer to go in and out, but I just can't get the bottom one. This could be due to me tightening all the bolts too early. The directions do say to tighten to seventy per cent, and I think I was too eager to get the thing put together. I could go through it and loosen everything.But i'm just not going to. The 2 drawers together are the same size as a file cabinet. So eventually i'm going to turn the two drawers into one drawer and just slide it in without any slider. Currently, the bottom drawer just slides in.Without dislider, since I removed them and I think it looks fine anyway. The wood is a nice quality and feels very solid. I wish the item came with little.Stickers to cover up where the bolts are but I can find those somewhere else. Overall, I'm really happy with the item and I can't wait for my light beige rug to come to make this item really stand out. It was packaged really well there wasn't a scratch anywhere. It’s super nice and looks amazing in my space. A few reasons for 4 stars and not 5. First, one of the handles is very loose and I can’t tighten it because it’s very hard to get to and also the screws are stripped. Not a huge deal or enough to send it back..but annoying. Also it says it’s 21.25” high but it’s actually 21.75” high. Again not a huge deal but we wanted exact dimensions. Lastly, the sliding doors are very very loud when opening and closing. I purchased this cabinet in Black, 59" and it is exactly as described and pictured. It came packed very securely. Delivery was mostly on schedule, only delayed a couple of days likely due to winter weather. Assembly took hubby less than 10 minutes and only required attaching the legs and doors. I had a lot of difficulty finding a quality piece in this design style and size. I have to admit this cabinet lacks a few desireable features I wanted such as concealed wheels, venting in the back and cord management, but the quality and value are very good. The other brand I considered was priced at almost three times the cost of this gem! The sleek minimalist style of this cabinet is a great addition to our modern contemporary home. I'm very happy to have all of our audio equipment both stored out of sight (sorry, hubby) and accessible by remote without opening the doors. For reference, the TV in the pic is 65". This 79 inch tv stand can hold up to an 80 inch tv with spacious room to store books and other belongings. It has a very nice modern feel to it and the quality is very durable. It did take awhile to assemble with one person but the end results were satisfying. The wood is engineered and it does have gold handles to open alongside gold at the bottom of the legs of each stand. Overall. I am very happy with how it turned out. It has a very attractive appeal..
