I absolutely LOVE this entertainment center for our home. The product arrived well packaged with absolutely no damage. After pulling all of the parts out, there were no shortages and everything was labeled for easy identification. All of the hardware was individually packed and an Allen wrench is provided. The instructions were easy to follow along with. You need a Phillips-head screwdriver, which is noted in the instructions. The easy process of putting the unit together took me (a thirty-something year old female) less than 2 hours. The quality is very good and the unit is a nice and classy addition to our game room. I included a picture of our 50 inch TV sitting on it for size comparison. The unit sits under our 77 inch that is installed on the wall and is perfect in that spot. The shelf in the middle has three heights that it can be adjusted to and the two cabinets are perfect for movies or games, etc. The rattan touch on the cabinets is truly a nice addition and makes the unit a classy piece of furniture.. I really like this tv stand. It is a little lower than my other ones, but it still looks great. There was a small chip on the one side but it could be covered with a runner. I like that it has the opening in the back on all three panels for wires, and the shelves in the middle for any devices. There is also storage on the sides, which are very spacious. Ok. So I looked at every option on Wayfair and was almost going to spend over $1,000 on a tv stand, but kept going back to this one and ended up buying it (at around $100!!!) I needed something as low as possible and at least as wide as our 60" tv (I think it's 60"!). We have a tricky room in a 1960's ranch with a wall of windows on one side, a wall of glass sliders on the other side and another wall is a fireplace. We moved in recently and already had this tv, which is probably a bit large for the space, and have moved the room around trying to find a good spot for the tv several times. We ended up deciding the window wall was the best, but I really did not want the tv showing or covering up the window, which is why I wanted a really low stand. I was thinking I wanted something wider and more of a closed cabinet, but we do have an HVAC register on the wall so I thought legs would be better for air flow. Anyhow, this little stand is just about perfect!! I don't love the color of the legs and knew that going into it, but I plan to paint them black, which should be easy to do! It was simple to put together, I (40, female) put it together myself in probably about 30 minutes or so. It sits under 12" high, which is one of the lowest of the wider stands I could find. I also like that if I do want it lower, I can remove or replace the legs. The color goes well with the furniture we have and doesn't stand out as too "fake" near our high end wood occasional tables.. This is a very good TV stand for larger TVs because it has a small footprint (maybe too small), but overall, this is a very high quality piece of furniture for the price - no cheap plastic pieces to be found anywhere. Setup is a bit complex but everything went together perfectly. So - why only 4 stars? 1. Sturdiness: This piece is advertising it can support 250 lbs, and maybe it can. However note that this piece is missing one critical component to support that kind of weight: no middle support! The wood is very strong so it can hold quite a bit, but its width along with a lack of middle support leads to the inevitable: center sag. My TV is 75" and weighs about 108 lbs. so I needed something big and sturdy. I tested it by standing on it (I weigh 175) and it held me, so it's safe enough to hold the TV, but with some expected center sag, despite also having a metal post running along the bottom for additional support (see first pic). Luckily I had some metal dumbbells which I placed in the center of the piece (see second pic) which greatly improved the support (see third pic). 2. Depth: at only 13" deep to the doors, not much can fit within it. Add to this, the backing only has 2 circular holes cut out in the center two (exposed) parts. I had set up a simple PS3 and docked laptop and they hung out the front horribly no matter how I routed wires. In the end, I partially disassembled the piece to remove the backing. MUCH BETTER! Unless you have very thin components, I highly suggest doing the same! You can see the wires more this way, especially if you have lighting near it, but it's not really noticeable (my pics have the back off already - didn't realize it, did you). If the company addressed these two minor problems in some way, this is easily a five-star piece. If you have a big and heavy TV without massive components being used, I highly recommend it!. Mike.
