This is a really nice awning for covering a grill. I have both a grill and a pizza oven under it. It did take two of us to put it together, but the directions were easy to understand. Absolutely LOVE our grill gazebo!!! At first, I was concerned about assembly because there are so many pieces, but I was actually able to put it together myself with the exception of help to stand it up and extra hands to put on the roof sheets. We’re very happy with this gazebo. The finished product looks even better in person than in the photos and adds a modern, high-end look to our patio. Love the way it turned out. It’s definitely a two person job. It was fairly simple assembly until you get to the roofing part. Putting on the metal roof was a challenge, but workable with two people- one on a ladder. The holes lined up exactly with all pieces, but a few times we had to maneuver them and adjust to line things up. We did line up all of the roofing pieces on the ground before beginning as shown in the instructions. Highly suggest that. After assembly, it didn’t not feel as sturdy as we wanted, so we mounted ours to 4 x 4’s and staked those into the ground with rebar. Feels sturdy now. We are very pleased with it.. Kellye. This gazebo looks amazing in our yard, and seems very sturdy after a strong thunderstorm tested it yesterday for the first time. But as several reviewers mentioned, the assembly was ROUGH! In some spots the instructions were very unclear, with images that didn't accurately represent the process at a given step. It definitely takes two people in some spots, even with more than one ladder for support while assembling. But now that it's done we really love it. So--it is correctly rated as "DIY--Experienced", and will take many more hours than the instructions say unless you have at least two tall ladders and four tall workers to help put it together. I purchased this as a shade structure for a potting bench, as it was the only one that was the right size for the space. The price is very reasonable and it was very easy to set up, though you will need a second person for a couple of steps. The structure is light weight and while it seems strong enough, it wobbles easily. Adding some diagonal bracing would fix this issue. The other concern I have is how flimsy the tarp is. purchased four and set them side to side. they look great frame is very sturdy and heavy steel. the anchors they come with definitely not long enough to hold long term in ground. i replaced with 12 galvanized anchors. the ceiling material is flimsy but does the job for now overall i say 83 happy. Good quality, not heavy duty but close. Instructions are difficult to decipher, take your time. I did it by myself with a little help holding things from my wife and kids. Don’t tighten boltsscrews too soon. Leave parts loose to fit and then tighten. No missing parts and no major damage from shipping. Fits BBQ, smoker and pizza oven. Snug but enough room.
