I ordered this is a gift for a friend who was redoing her little teeny, tiny kitchen. As a chef, the little teeny, tiny kitchen was a little too small, but it was still amazing what she could put together in that little teeny tiny spot. Now that she has a bigger kitchen. I wanted to get her a knife block that had the wood tones that matched her new ceiling and floor, and she absolutely adores this knife wall bar! She can’t wait to fill it up with all her knives.. work well, but two issues. 1. the picture that comes with it references a mounting bracket that doesn’t exist. confused me and contacting wusthof they also didn’t tell me the insert was incorrect and it only mounts with screws. after lots of digging on youtube i found out how to mount this. i should not have had to contact wusthof and/or go searching for such a simple thing. 2. imperfect staining, gluing o.
