This came just in the nick of time with temperatures getting in the in the unbearable ranges. It was easy to put together and install without directions but I still did read directions to make sure everything perfect based on previous experiences with portable AC units. I have this in a 9x12 room and on the first night, it took quite some time to cool down, the room temperature was 93 when I started it around 9 pm and it reached 73 around 2 am. All windows and doors were closed so no hot air was flowing into the room. It won’t cool down the space as well as a traditional HVAC but it’s great help if it’s all you have.. Michele. US.
