Mattress feels medium firmness, and after 2 weeks it has dramatically improved my back and hip pain. Shipped fast. Compact package. follwed instrucitons and unrolled mattress and it opened out and expanded. Seems Solid. But as it was a pillowtop I think the suface seems soft and gets pushed easily into the bed untill the powerful spring keeps the bed in shape.
