In the end, the bed looks as good as new—you have to look very closely to notice the repairs. The bed is beautiful, has side drawers just like shown in the pictures, and it was not difficult to assemble. Despite the initial issues, I am happy with the final result and would recommend it.. Overall, I’m pleased with the outcome of the bed. Assembling the bed is a timely process. The instructions says two persons are required for assembly. Not true. I completed the job by myself, which is likely the reason it took 7-8 hrs to assemble. Attention to details is necessary for assembly there are very few words in the pamphlet so the pictures are your path. The delivery however did require two ppl to lift. It was really hard to find an XL upholstered bed. Happy with the quality. Took two of us about 90 minutes to set up. Beautiful bed, quite annoying to put together. The long piece that makes up the bottom of the shelf portion sags in the middle and there isnt a great way to give it more support. Generally the bed feels very sturdy and the big side shelf on top is a fabulous place to display all the little things kids love to display. Set aside 5 hours to build this thing. Even using power tools it took me quite some time to build. Not a fan of the drawers attaching with just a hole. I have not been able to get the bluetooth to show up on any phone to pair. My son really wants to use the app to control the LED light strip. Maybe it's defective? Edit/Update for anyone else having this issue: The instructions tell you to pair with a bluetooth "Triones" and to install happy lighting. Even provides the qr code in the book to install this app. It seems that this vendor maybe changed their light strips to a different brand. Amazing, sturdy, handsome little bed frame. It's definitely a two person job. Putting on the light strip was a bit tedious, we needed to drill pilot holes. But it came together beautifully and is really a lovely piece of furniture once it's all together. My little boy loves it. It has a couple of cloth drawers, and electronic plugins for all the things. This bed looks great and has a lot of useful features. The headboard is nicely padded and soft, making it comfortable to lean against. There is plenty of storage space, which helps keep the room organized. The only downside is that assembly was not easy. Because of the assembly, I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5.
