This is a nice loft bed set and while slightly more expensive than other sets it is worth the money. This set has the best layout in my opinion for under the bed and that alone is worth the extra cost. It took me about 3.5 hours to fully assemble by myself moving at a relaxed pace. The parts and instructions are labeled fairly well with one extra of each screw. I have not anchored it to the wall yet but it is very sturdy even being on carpet. I sifted through tons of reviews on different loft beds and after a couple of months of thinking on it, decided to pull the trigger on this one. I’m so glad I did! Despite being made of particle board style wood, it is actually very sturdy. There are tons of screws and lots of support for each piece. I put it together myself and it took several hours over the course of 3 days. The instructions were pretty clear for the most part. The only thing I don’t like is how close to the ceiling it is, however that’s my fault for not measuring. If I had taller ceilings it would be perfect! I am 5’3” and can stand underneath with my head only slightly tilted downward, so there is a good amount of space underneath. My 8-year-old son absolutely loves it. If your child is on the cusp of a growth spurt and you have average-height ceilings then I would maybe not get this one because of how tall it is. But otherwise I would highly recommend it!. Tori. This was a big pain to install! Took about 7-8 hours with about 3 of us (we had 2 kids help us so we count them as half each because they were in and out with their "help" lol). Between making sure the bars didnt turn on you and only tightening at 70% but at the end having to find all 100 of the screws to tightening them.... it was a lot. Also I know the sides come with a warning, but please please remember the low ceilings when you have the bed frame up. Adults hits their heads 3 times each before we got the memo. Ouch! However, when all was said and done, my daughter was very happy. The bed edge makes me nervous for sleep purposes, but going to look into possibly a thinner mattress. Maybe even a bed rail of sorts. The bottom loft is very roomy. Has a lot of table space and even the drawers have a lot of room to them. I didn't realize they were cloth drawers, but they are nice and fit a lot. This is a great bed. It was time-consuming to assemble but not hard or confusing. I love the stairs as opposed to a ladder because it’s much safer, and it also has the additional storage underneath the stairs. The desk is a good size and there are many outlets available for all different cords. The LED lights are really fun and they’re bright, but they do not stick very well, and I had to use almost all of the Velcro straps in order to secure the lights all around the bed.
