[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We really like our new LG fridge. It is so spacious. The cooling seems to be doing fine. We had to set up both the freezer and fridge temps since we felt the factory setting was too low. We hardly hear it except when the ice drops into the tray. I seems to seal well and even has an alert if you leave open the door too long. I would have liked to see a little more light in the fridge area. The shelving seems to be space pretty well. Bottom line, we really like it and recommend to others.. Chris1116. Albuquerque, NM. Tue Sep 01 2026

Zero Clearance hinges let you install your refrigerator next to a wall or adjacent cabinets for a nearly built-in look. Combined with the thin door design, it lets you fully open both French doors, even in tight spaces. That means there’s almost zero need to pull the refrigerator forward or leave additional room on the sides to avoid hitting surrounding cabinetry—and take up extra space in your kitchen. Striking the perfect balance between the sleek style you love and the storage space you need, this LG French door refrigerator offers LG's first and largest capacity freestanding counter-depth refrigerator with Zero Clearance. It gives you ample space for your family’s favorite foods and keeps them conveniently organized and within reach. Doors are 45% thinner so they take up less space while still providing the same daily ice production, easy ice and water access and energy efficiency you expect from LG. Combined with the Zero Clearance Hinge System, you’ll enjoy a seamless, nearly built-in look like no other freestanding refrigerator. MAX out your fit with our hybrid handle design for easy opening and premium style. Restyled bar handles are slightly contoured to comfortably fit your hand while offering quick access. Discreet pocket handle on the freezer drawer makes it easy to slide it open, even when fully loaded. Together, they create a sleek look that complements the flat panel design. Enjoy drinks your way with 3 types of ice that are perfect for every occasion. Choose from standard ice cubes, crushed ice and LG's exclusive round Craft Ice—crafted to melt slower, chill more efficiently and help beverages taste their best for longer. From craft cocktails and whiskey to soft drinks, lemonade, even iced coffee, give your beverages the perfect ice. Dual ice makers, dispensed from the door and located in the freezer compartment, automatically produce the same amount of ice as our other counter-depth models so you never run out. Still need more ice? Turn on Ice Plus with just a touch of the control panel or through the ThinQ app. It increases ice production by automatically lowering freezer temperatures to the coldest setting for 24 hours.

My experience has been horrible. After purchasing the unit in April 2022, it had to have the compressor replaced in Nov that same year. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When it comes to upgrading kitchen appliances, this model stands out as an exceptional choice, combining thoughtful engineering with outstanding daily performance. This model delivers on every front, making it an ideal solution for households that require superior cooling and reliable functionality. First and foremost, the capacity is absolutely massive. The interior is incredibly spacious and to maximize usable volume. Its smart shelving layout allows for the effortless storage of oversized items, large pots, and bulk groceries without any hassle. The expansive room completely eliminates the stress of trying to squeeze everything into the fridge, offering a truly generous space for all culinary and beverage needs. Perhaps the most impressive and convenient feature of this refrigerator is the brilliant door design. A common frustration with large appliances is accidentally leaving the door slightly ajar, which wastes energy and jeopardizes food freshness. The LG LF29S9730S completely solves this problem. If you give the door even the slightest, gentle push, it automatically catches and pulls itself tightly shut. There is no need to forcefully slam it or turn around to double-check the seal; it closes securely and perfectly every single time. This auto-closing mechanism is an absolute game-changer, especially when navigating the kitchen with full hands. Overall, for anyone seeking a high-capacity refrigerator equipped with smart, user-friendly touches, the LG LF29S9730S is highly recommended. The massive storage space combined with the effortless, auto-closing doors makes it a top-tier appliance that brings premium convenience to any home. I love it!. Philipjina. Cresskill. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I never thought a refrigerator could make me this happy, but here we are. For years, I used the basic white refrigerator that came with our rental house. Even though it was fairly new, I never really trusted it. Milk stored in the door spoiled too quickly, food in the back would freeze, and things in the freezer door sometimes went soft. I got into the habit of buying only what we could eat within a few days. Then I got the LG LF29S9775S, and it genuinely changed the way I grocery shop. Now I can stock up on seasonal apples, meat, produce, or a great grocery deal without constantly worrying about food going bad. Everything stays consistently cold, vegetables stay fresh, and the freezer drawers make it so much easier to actually see and find what we have. I especially love the convertible drawer. I use mine as a freezer and keep my daughter's ice cream there. She loves having her own little ice cream drawer. And there's a perfect spot for keeping prosecco chilled for summer mimosas, which might be my personal favorite. Another huge surprise: this refrigerator is incredibly quiet. My little white fridge still sounds like a tank when it kicks on, while this LG, at nearly twice the size, is so quiet I barely notice it. My old white fridge has now officially been demoted to soda-can duty. I honestly wish I had bought this sooner. There's a saying that hesitation only delays delivery! And in this case, I completely agree. One of the best purchases I've made for our home. I would absolutely recommend it.. Helena Lee. Tenafly, NJ. Tue Sep 29 2026

Purchased a similar one in our last house from LG that did not have the extra cooling drawer and it was a great refrigerator - never any issues in the three years before we moved.
