I have waffled on this between four and five stars. The chair is every bit as weighty and good looking as the pictures show. Not quite a chesterfield but chesterfield-like. The "faux leather" certainly feels as you would expect pleather to feel. I'm a fan of full grain leather typically but given the option of this versus a 2k+ chair of real leather it is a good compromise. I will say the following though as a "con" of sorts. There are a few comments here about the pitch of the seat. As an amateur woodworker I mistook this as not understanding that a proper seat needs pitch to be comfortable. The basic pitch (with the back locked) is a bit more than I thought it would be and I can see how a smaller person may not like it. The chairs are very nice and seem to be good quality. The seat cushion is very firm but will hopefully break in over time. The assembly is ridiculous. Based on someone elses review about the difficult assembly we decided to pay for the assembly as part of the purchase. Based on 4 chairs, the price was 191 for an hour and 45 minutes. The guy actually needed an extra 2 hours to complete the assembly of all 4 chairs, so we had to pay an extra 200. Wayfair needs to adjust assembly time in the purchase process.
