I do like how the cabinets look. The doors have a soft close, but the drawers do not. Out of the four boxes, one box arrived four days later and it had damaged pieces. The customer service was able to replace the pieces, however, they also arrived four days after they said they would get here. Even the replacement pieces had damaged corners, but they were usable. These bookshelves look amazing in my craftroom. We purchased 3 of them, each one took my husband approximately 3 hours to put together. He then used his own hardware to secure them together to make it look like one large unit. The doors all open well, the shelving seems sturdy enough for my supplies. I only purchased these because of the huge discount, you get what you pay for. If you are looking for “built in craftsmanship,” this option is not for you. We knew we would be downsizing in a few years and did not want to invest a huge amount of money for built ins. Having said that, these units are the showcase of my craftroom! This is a very high quality unit for the price. It came in three separate boxes that were each pretty heavy, so you might need 2 people to carry them. The directions were clear and easy to follow, but it did take quite a while to put together. It's absolutely necessary to have 2 people put it together, especially when connecting the top section of the hutch to the side shelves and when lifting it up from the laying position. I was able to put it together by myself up until that point, then I needed a second set of hands. It holds a lot of items and is very sturdy. These shelving units are beautiful. They far exceeded my expectations. The shelf units are constructed very well. You can tell there was a lot of thought put in to this product. It comes with all the hardware you need plus glue to add. Directions were easy to follow and everything lined up very well.
