Im planning to use this for my new chicken run so Im not attaching the dog bowls but the door swing around great and lock in place. The whole structure is very sturdy. Assembly was super easy. Very sturdy and very easy to put together! It’s also very heavy, so you won’t be moving it around easily after it’s assembled, but it is easy to take it apart if you want to move it. I love that it comes with 2 gates (plus 14 panels)! We got the pen that is 40 inches tall because our new rabbit was jumping out of our old 30-inch pen. My only complaint is that each gate has 2 latches so the gates are impossible to open with one hand, so I tied a string to the latches (there is a metal loop on top of each latch) so that I just have to pull up the string with one hand to open both latches on one gate at the same time.. Nice quality kennel although I used mine for my Junior chickens to give them a bigger run. The base was easy to assemble. Attaching the mesh wire is definitely a two person job and I highly recommend using leather gloves as there are lots of sharp edges on the mesh for you to get cut. I'm really happy with this purchase. Although I found it a bit tricky to attach the clips, I opted for zip ties instead, and it still looks great around my bushes. It was pretty easy to build. I love how long it is. For Bassets I needed a long play area. I plan to plant herb in box planters around the perimeter. Different dog friendly plants and herbs. It will be a sensory thing for them. I did one sections mulch, one artificial turf and the 3rd pavers. While it comes with dog bowl at the door, I plan to attach an automatic water bowl to it.
