Item is very well made. The description does not give a weight limitation, my dog weighs 9.5 pounds, she is a long bodied dog and fits into the pounch just fine. It is comfortable to wear, it did not bother my back which was my worry and she adapted quickly to being in it. She does llike to be carried around though. I got this because I've tried numerous things that have not worked to calm her during her episode's of fear from storms, gunshots & fireworks. It actually did a great job. It stopped her shaking almost immediately and kept her from getting so nervous and worked up. When she gets like that it's very hard to calm her. So for that reason alone I give it a 5 star!!! Cute looking pet carrier but very flimsy. My 12 lb. Mini dachshund jumped right in and it immediately collapsed under her weight. My cat, Max, is enjoying his new carrier. The carrier rolls easily but can also be removed from the roller platform and used as a backpack or placed in the car seat. There are mesh areas to allow ventilation on the sides and the front as well as a large clear plastic window for viewing. Theres a nice fleece pad in the bottom and a clasp that attaches to your pets collar so they cant escape when you open the carrier. Max is 17 lbs so he fits but it would be too small for larger pet. This made traveling with my pet so easy. My dog is 20lbs and it’s difficult to carry the carrier with him in it as it gets too heavy on my shoulders. This made my whole experience so stress free after using a normal carrier for so long without wheels. This cat carrier is so high quality and the craftsmanship is fantastic. I honestly am surprised it is this well made. The only thing I could recommend for the company is to make the side stiffer in some way to prevent the small bit of sagging while it’s standing up. (see photo). This is a cute and sturdy carrier. It was hard to take a pic of the accurate color. It is a nice olive green with a cute black and white plaid pattern inside. I mainly bought it for my dog when we go on four wheeler rides. She might technically be a tad too big for it at 14 pounds but overall it will work for my needs. I have a pomeranian and I thought this was so cute to carry him in. He fits in it just perfectly! Had to use some chicken to get him to poke his head out of the hole. But he did it! It comes with a shoulder strap you can take off. And a soft hard padding for the bottom. And a cover for the top. My pomeranian is a little on the bigger side so it is a snug fit.
