This is a great futon style mattress. The frame is not included and I did not buy a frame for it but it comes with the slots so a frame can easily slide through the cover. I bought it soecifi to slide u set the bed and pull out for when my daughter had sleep overs so her friends can sleep on it and it works perfect for that. Not quite as comfortable as a regular mattress, but it's fine to sleep on. Much easier to move around and store than a regular mattress, though. I like the two sides suited for summer/winter. This floor mattress is pretty comfortable considering it is only 4 and on the floor. It did not come shrink wrapped, but it seemed way too flat at first I let it air out before making a review. At first, it was only 2 inches, but after a few days out of the plastic wrapping it came in, it is decidedly 4. I guess it was flattened during packaging.
