Our toilet has worked flawlessly for 7+ years with a lot of daily use. I installed this toilet and noted it is a tad more difficult to install than a "standard" USA toilet. However, the differences are, IMO, from superior engineering - especially how to toilet fits onto the floor and the plumbing connects. Any installation shortcut(s) and for sure there will be problems. Love this toilet. Just keep in mind when you install this toilet that the water shut off and hose can go behind the toilet so you don’t see it. If your water shut off is already on the outside of that area you will not be able to move it once the toilet is installed. You’ll see in the photo that my water shut off ended up being on the outside, unfortunately.it’s so easy to clean, flushes well, it’s the right height. Buying another one for my other bathroom.. This toilet needs to be flushed twice every time. We bought tow of these and had them installed by a plumber. Talked to Kohler and also had them checked a year later by a different plumber and still the same issue. The design of the water inlet to the bowl does not cause a circular motion to form but rather just a roiling which prevents everything from being flushed on the first time. I had a customer purchase 4 of these toilets, the only problem I noticed with the installation is you can tighten the bolts through the sides of the base and you can still twist the bowl. In other words there's still play from side to side, but not forward and back. I've watched several installation videos, and everyone gives the impression that the toilet bowl is locked down without any movement. So once everything is assembled your basically depending on the caulking to seal and hold the base of the toilet in place. On the concentional base with the screws being secured through the holes on the base you were able to securely lock down the base. This pressure assisted toilet is much better than standard toilets. It can be a little loud and sounds like an airplane toilet, but with little kids it helps prevent clogs. The shipping was very good and it came intact. Customer service at wayfair is excellent. I would high recommend this toilet for remodel, replacement projects because it doesn't have a traditional stopper, water tank and the self-enclosed tank is clean and hopefully worry free for several years.. Ordered in pink and waiting with fingers crossed for the bowl to be delivered. Ordered in April and they say the bowl is expected in early June. Got the same 2 piece toilet in green, the one I'm writing about now. It is gorgeous! It has a low water usage flush and I don't know how they did it, but it is fantastic.
