Bought this for my mom’s new place. I’ve been putting a lot of furniture together recently and this was actually not that hard to put together. I will say- you have to pay attention to every picture because I definitely ended up putting 2 parts together wrong and then needed to back track slightly. It still only took 2.5hrs for me to put together and i only needed mild help with lining up the screws and holes since lifting a part of the island and lining them up was difficult. If you are someone who hates allen wrenches i have great news - this is put together almost 100% with just plain old screws and a screwdriver. The last part does use an allen wrench but only for 8 screws and it is done. All the parts are labeled and for the most part packaged in order of the parts you need. We had a smaller bar stand and as we accumulated different liqueurs and spirits, we were running out of space, so I found the Swavar bar cabinet and we love it!! We got the off white color and it compliments our home colors perfectly. Me and my wife took about an hour to build it, pretty straight forward. The quality is pretty good, does not feel cheap. This bar cabinet can hold A LOT of bottle, glasses and accessories and much much more. Check my photos out, in my photos, I did not ouch the bottles all the way back because I wanted to make it easy for me to grab them, but each shelf can hold about 10-12 spirit bottle, maybe a little more depending how big each bottle is. I’m really happy with this island! Every single part is solid wood (pine), the finish is lovely - even and applied well. The legs are solid and substantial The top is thick, and my piece didn’t have any joinery issues at all. It was easy to put together, just read through the instructions beforehand a couple of times. This has been a fabulous addition to our kitchen. Assembly was long, but straightforward. We did have an issue with the handle on the trash tilt-out thing.
