I am in the process of renovating the room where it’s going to be sitting so the stand is still in my garage but I tested the fireplace and it works great. As a side note - since this item arrived in two shipments and two different boxes, just note that the light strip for the stand is packaged inside the box with the fireplace (I thought it was missing because I didn’t pay proper attention to it while unpacking and panicked, reached out to WAYFAIR, and they, in their turn, to the seller, who told me to look in that second box - so, avoid being embarrassed like I was, lol). There are A LOT of parts in this item and it took some time to put it together - a small Allen ranch provided with the package was a huge help but a longer shaft wrench would work better with some inconvenient angles.
