This Kahler 4 light kitchen island linear pendant light streamlines the classic chandelier look for a modern update to your French country space. It's made of metal with two sloping arms that feature two lights each, evenly spread across its 40'' width. Each candle-style light features a fresh white fabric shade with a bell shape that softens the look. We love that this pendant light is height adjustable as well as sloped ceiling compatible up to 15 degrees in any direction. Additional angling can be achieved by the sloped ceiling adaptor (not included). Really nice looking and great quality. The black with brown trim looks great with my light colored walls and dark wood cabinets. One challenge is the rods are challenging to work with when mounting to angled vaulted ceiling. Need to be patient. We had to adjust a couple times but turned out great! I bought 3 of these. These are a little on the 'light' side, no pun intended. The glass is pretty thin, but they look good. Don't have them up yet, but looking forward to it. As you can see by the photos, I did have an issue with one of the globes being shattered. The FedEx gal decided to literally drop them from about 3' off the ground. She bashed 3 out of 7 packages around on my porch, luckily only one thing got damaged. That I've found so far. Not Wayfair's fault. They handled a replacement very quickly with no hassle. The light is beautiful! I didn’t realizeor didn’t think much of the light having chains to hang, and so it doesn’t really match my other pendant light styles. Just something to be mindful of because I wasn’t! It wasn’t a bear to hang, but it didn’t hang level and took several attempts to get it level. Beautiful lights, really pleased with these. They look almost mirrored, solid metallic when off, but are suprisingly translucent smoke when on. Love the light seed detail in glass so they are true in the detail of farmhouse style pendant. We used the Edison light bulbs and they are really nice touch!
