Beautiful bedframe super easy too build. Super easy to clean. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because we have an 8 Sleep mattress (heavier) had to lay down extra support beams. Will work perfectly with any normal mattress.. Haley. Hastings, MN. Wed Oct 07 2026

Update your bedroom with this platform bed frame and all its traditional charm – plus, some modern practicality. It's crafted from steel in a classic silhouette and comes with wooden slats that eliminate the need for a box spring. I did a lot of research regarding the weight capacity of metal beds. We have a king size black beauty rest mattress that works best with box springs so the total mattress weight has to be around 200lbs. My husband and I combined are just under 400 lbs. so I wanted a minimum of 700 lbs to more than cover. Also my husband is 6’2” and I was concerned about his feet getting caught in the footboard. We tested it without the box springs because the bed doesn’t require those. He didn’t have any issues but we ended up adding the box springs anyway. Now the bed with the springs goes higher than the footboard. The mattress height alone is 14 inches and box springs add about 4 inches. The bed frame is heavy at just under 103 pounds so that was important. I didn’t want a lightweight frame. The decor on the head and footboard is beautiful, gives an antique vibe like the bed my grandmother had but no squeaking. We have slept on this for just under a week and there is no sound. We were able to put this together is about twenty minutes. The instructions are clear with numbers for connecting pieces that slid into place easily. We did use the rubber mallet included to secure each piece. Love the bed, very happy with the sturdiness and look.. Linda. Kansas City, MO. Fri Sep 11 2026

Beyond its beauty, this metal frame is engineered for superior performance. It is constructed from heavy-duty, thickened carbon steel, offering exceptional strength and pressure resistance for long-lasting stability. To ensure a peaceful night’s sleep, silent foam strips are integrated to eliminate any squeaking or noise. Furthermore, anti-slip foot pads are included to protect your floors from scratches and ensure the bed stays securely in place. Me and my husband put the bed together and we got it done in about an hour. Once together we realized that we needed a little more support for our foam mattress because the metal slats were not wide and had to much space between them to give good support. We just put the cardboard the frame came in on top of the frame and it worked great. The frame is very sturdy and i needed that support being over 200 lbs. It has plenty of space underneath for storage. It’s a great buy for the price.. Carolyn. US. Fri Aug 28 2026
