Pretty easy to build. A little disappointing that the description mentions a curtain that is not included. There was a piece at the foot of the bed where the bottom shelf and bed connect that the hole was not drilled out, you could see it was started but we had to drill it out. The windows could be sewn better because they didn’t survive my toddler, within not even 5 minutes after the bed was done being built the windows were broken. Super cute, my toddler was so excited. Took about 2.5 hours to build. Downside is the casters had to be left off or the drawers are too high to properly close all the way. Wish the support beams came with a few additional pieces so my husband and I felt more secure when laying in it with him to put him to sleep but overall sturdy enough. We also had to buy corner cushions for the pieces by the stairs because they are pretty sharp and my toddler slipped on the stairs and got a small cut by his eye when he hit the rails by the steps.. My kids loved this. If you're looking for floor bed frames, this is great. The bunk above is the perfect height. It definitely does take two people to assemble, so keep that mind, but it's worth it. The only thing I wish could have been better is the "windows" It's just canvas fabric. If it was solid wood or plastic would give it more a polish look. I'd still recommend though, fantastic deal.. This was a tried and true product review. It came packaged in one box very well no damage took about an hour to put together for one person,not super happy with the canopy.
