We’ve actually purchased this bed frame twice this year! We first bought the queen size for ourselves and were very happy with it. A couple of months later, we decided to upgrade to a king-size bed, so we gave the queen frame to our son and purchased the exact same bed frame again in king size. We love the quality. It’s made from solid wood, feels sturdy and well-made. It works with our new 16-inch-high mattress and adjustable base, although the headboard does look a little short with such a tall mattress and base. We have a house on the small side where space is at a premium. We were looking for something with usable storage to help reduce clutter and help us stay organized while making the room look nice. This frame checked all of those boxes. The fact that the structural components are made from solid wood was a significant contributing factor as well. Time will tell if it scratches easy or holds up, but in the week or two weve had it, its been a solid, structurally sound, good looking frame that enables us to have drawer storage under our bed. As others have mentioned, the drawers are not attached to the frame, but work great nonetheless. They are huge and have ball bearing wheels attached on the sides which allows them to slide out very easily while not slipping all over the place side to side. The frame was surprisingly easy to put together. It took more time to breakdown all the cardboard boxes than it did to assemble the frame. Great price point too considering the quality. Very easy to put to together. It is a very sturdy bedframe for the price. The “espresso” color is fairly accurate in person vs what you see online in the pictures. The only reason we give this bedframe 4 stars is because one of the posts came damaged as seen in the second picture. Additionally, instructions were pretty straightforward. There was one moment where it isn’t straightforward, as it doesn’t mention there is not a pre drilled hole for a screw for the middle portion of the frame. The bed frame has been pretty sturdy since we put it together, and had no issues putting our premium king sized mattress on it.
