The bed is really pretty, sturdy, solid wood, but it’s a few things that prevent me from giving 5 stars. No instructions, took some time to find them online. The headfootboardsside rails don’t perfectly line up, which bothers the perfectionist in me. Not enough screws included to screw in both sides of each slat, had to do every other. The bed didn’t have any instructions on how to assemble it in any of the boxes. It needed to have some of the hardware drilled because it just didn’t fit in and there was no way to assemble it. However; once put together it looks marvelous and quite simply the most comfortable bed that I’ve ever slept in. Customer Service was outstanding. They attempted to correct the issue right away. I was able to solve the problem because I had a friend who gave me a hand but if you are an individual, especially a female with no knowledge on how to fix hard problems with a drill, go ahead and pay for the professional help to put the bed together.
