We really like this bed! It seems pretty sturdy. It took us about a 2 hours to put it together. I was really impressed with the fabric provided for the canopy—it has a nice weight to it drapes beautifully. The slats on the bed are supportive enough to hold a mattress without a box spring or board. The bed is made of real wood that has been painted, so there are superficial imperfections here and there. However, we are happy with how the bed looks despite these small flaws. My three year old daughter helped pick out this bed for herself, and she was so excited to see it put together. Overall the bed is nice. My son really wanted a loft type bed so we chose this one for the look and also based on the good reviews. A lot of people said it was fairly easy to put together. The directions kinda sucked and it was just annoying to put together. Everything was labeled nicely at least. The insert with the Allen type key bolt isn’t our favorite type of securing mechanism but we cut the Allen key and made a drill bit making it a lot easier. Some of the wood pieces weren’t perfect or hollowed out enough. A piece actually came damaged but Wayfair sent out a new one right away, which was much appreciated. It doesn’t feel like the most solid structure. It’s fine to be sleeping on but I did warn my 4 year old not to be jumping or hanging on it. Time will tell how it holds up.. Gina. Ny, NY. This product is really nice! Everything seems really sturdy and all the wood pieces fit nicely together, except for one stairs bar which won’t tighten fully and therefore is a little wobbly (I’ll be contacting the seller to hopefully get a replacement piece.)
