Relatively sleek looking unit but this requires professional installation which is key! Planning to install in my kids' rooms just in time for the summer. Also, great that this is a split unit that can also heat in the winter - years ago, we had another pump that wouldn't heat if the temp <31 degrees F, making it pointless. This unit on the other hand will operate up to about 5 degrees F. None of this info is easily accessible on the item description. There also is a dehumidifying option as well!. Felicia. Carmel, NY. We had AC go out and live in AZ. Well over 100* so we bought this unit for our bedroom. Kept us nice and cool. I like that there is no draining of collected water. I has wheels so, easy enough to move around. The company suggests that you wait 24 hours before using. We did but I am not sure what that has to do with anything. Vornado creates cutting edge products - so when we set out to create a window fan, we did our research and then rewrote the formula. The result was just over 6" tall, unobtrusive and clever enough to be seamlessly installed in windows from 24” up to 38" wide using an innovative modular block system. Its electronically reversible chamber smoothly brings fresh air in or exhausts stale air out. Rain or shine, the weather-resistant casing doesn’t mind. Either way, you’ll still enjoy the view.
