I received my Dyson Air Purifier/ Humidifier as a tenure gift from my employer. I’ve had it about 7 weeks and very happy with my selection. I use it in my small 10x10 bedroom and it makes the room significantly cooler and the air fresher. It is very quiet and does not bother my sleeping at all. I did have some concerns with the humidifier not working, but after a little online research I didn’t have the humidity setting high enough. Love that the detect light is now standard on the vacuum head, it is so helpful to see all the dog hair. The submarine head is so unique, I have never used a vacuum feature like it. I do think it would be perfect for anyone that does an every day wet mop, because it works best on lightly soiled areas. This is my third Dyson Animal. I keep one upstairs that is 10 years old and this new stand one I am keeping downstairs. I am very satisfied with Dyson vacuums. The suction power is excellent. I like the adjustable carpet level and a longer court, which my older Dyson does not have. It is a heavier, vacuum and many others on the market, but I have found that the lighter vacuums do not have the suction power that the Dyson does, so the weight of the vacuum is of no significant consequence to me. So I use the old box fans have for years have a older tower and peddle stool fans too. Now noise compared to a 20 inch box fan on high , it is quieter even on turbo mode. Has remote to control which nice. But the air blowing out compare to box fan is smaller. Those little slits on the pole is where air comes out but it's enough to move your air and yes feel it even up to 10 speeds, I find anything below speed 5 hardly feel. Now it will rotate at base if so choose it ti or stop it by remote. You can even by remote spin it left or right. But be warn when putting together it said remove all tape but didn't see too much putting blades on but look close at base tape all over, make sure remove it or won't spin. Then u can point each end of pole like to floor or to ceiling. With dogs they can now get air on floor while I get some on my chair also. It heavy for fan it got weight so seems built. But it is pricey for fan. Draw backs. You could rotate the pole manually to different angles. Same with blades on end. Would like see those option on remote but only manually now. As I stuck in wheelchair remote was important. Wish with the base turning liked to see either blades on ends option to spin to or even the whole pole arm. Then u could have a steady flow head to toe air movement. But the blades on the ends and angle of pole can only be done manually. Maybe in future they can add that option. But also disappointed this day in age zero filter. Does have they call dust cover thought see a washable filter behind it but not yet at least. I bought for it look. Better looking then box fan on floor. I do like other shark products. Own 6 other items made by shark. Only reason paid the price point did was the name. It great start. Now if they can find tune it add some of the draw backs it can be 5 stars but it's not there to me yet.. it is wonderful concept to the boring fan product. I have seen this with a heat option also which thought about buying . Seeing new fans with filters even one offering like sent pods to fan so with breeze get nice fresh smell too. Oh boy. This fan is very nice and produces a lot of wind even on the lower settings. I'm impressed. It will cover a large room easily, or on the very low settings, a smaller room. The design looks modern, and it doesn't take up much space tucked in the corner. The remote is a nice touch as well. I really like this fan, and Wayfair had the best price as usual.
