Got this for my husbands sunroom office. The fabric is soft and smooth, although it’s a faux leather it feels like a microsuede. The black is a matte mid black/dark grey versus a dark black. A tilt-back action allows the user to tilt the entire chair backward for a change of position or to be more comfortable when you are not working on a desk or other surface. An adjustable tension makes the chair either easier or harder to tilt. A tilt-lockout prevents the chair from tilting backward.

Very high quality, easy to put together, and strong. I am a 6' 3", 310 lb man, and this chair is big even for me. Definitely recommend. I also purchased for the head support, and it is the prefect height for my head.The headrest is not height-adjustable, which is the only downside I see. The wheels roll smooth.
