My company offers ergonomic online consults and noticed my old-fashioned leather top wood desk was too high for my height. Therefore, she recommended I get a sit/stand desk as it will be lower and will give me the option to stand during the day esp. meetings. The company does pay for them, so it was an added bonus. This one was a good option. Pretty easy to put together, just have to be organized from the start...put all the right parts together, etc. Took about 45 minutes to put together as I did go slow and do it on my own. I wanted a contemporary-retro desk that would be a statement piece against the black wall and white trim in my office, and this desk is a perfect complement to that. It’s big (but not too big), has two large drawers and a cabinet, plus a modicum of hidden storage just below the actual desk.
