Ok, giving this 4.5 stars for aesthetic and solid wood frame. HOWEVER, please be cautioned There were some dings and splintering that are fortunately hidden after assembly with one acception. The assembly itself self took 2.5 hrs with a couple sanity breaks. Each spindled piece has an item sticker that would be visible and thus needed removal. I ruined my nails and spent 10x as long removing stickers and the glue as I did putting the head and footboard together. After FINALLY getting this bed put together, I almost cried contemplating the labor intensive deconstruction that would be required to take it out of the room. This project is not for the faint of heart. It is, indeed, a project. I would not deduct stars as paying for assembly is an option. Also, an oversight on my part, but the bedframe will not house a mattress and box spring, only a mattress. My biggest frustration was the assembly, and second the blemishes on the frame. Of course I cannot handle breaking down to return for replacement pieces, but generally I would recommend if youre going for appearance.. Laurel. Ormond Beach, FL. Mon Aug 03 2026

This spindle bed has a distinctively vintage design, right at home in any main bedroom or guest room. It's thoughtfully crafted from solid wood, and comes in a variety of hues to fit your room's style and color scheme. Our favorite part is the combination of a spindle-style headboard and footboard, which are connected by a simple slat system. They both strike rectangular silhouettes with rounded edges for a welcoming feel overall.

Very solid frame. The biggest issue we had was not being aware that this bed needed a box frame. I assumed it came with slats to support the mattress, but was told that was not the case after contacting customer service about the issue. After having the frame for a month or so we have noticed a couple spots where the wood is splitting, but it's nothing that is deteriorating the sturdiness of the product. It is purely cosmetic, and nothing I am overly concerned about.. Alexandria. Reno, NV. Thu Jul 23 2026

The wood was beautiful and it matched our 1960 end tables perfectly. The instructions were so easy to follow we had it together in an hour. I would say have 2people to put it together. OMG the bed is so well priced. I was really hesitant but I have seen needs in stores and hand crafted furniture stores for similar quality for triple the price. I am really happy with this purchase! Oh, I tried it with and w/o the boxspring and I prefer w/o. The bed made my mattress so much more comfortable with out the box spring.. Cheryl. Franklin, NC. Fri Apr 10 2026
