Overall, I really like this sleeper sofa for my needs and tastes and will probably use it for years and years. Pros: Its firm which is my preference and what I was looking for. Minimal looking and minimal size wise. Very nice, super smooth wood frame. Open, armless style. I like the green corduroy fabric. Cons: The back rest cushions are probably more thick than they need to be. This causes a pretty shallow sitting length and your thighs will hang off the front most likely. The underside of the small pillows I received have a very differnet looking grippy section that I haven't found functional or tasteful. I search for a while for a bed frame that would fit in my sunroom and work with my hide a bed mattress. The hide a bed couch was old but mattress is fairly new. This option made it so I could still use my mattress. This is a full size mattress and fits its perfectly. I love that it has 3 different options of being a couch, lounger and a bed. We ordered this day bed and we love it. We have dogs that like to get on our sofa and this one is a much better option. It is lower to the ground so keep that in mind if you’re buying it instead of a sofa. I also noticed many people in the reviews saying that the pillows provided won’t fit in the covers. I opened the pillow stuffing folded it in half and put it in the pillow covers and they seem to work perfectly (see picture of small gray pillows). I do think that the daybed needs more pillows so I added some green ones for a pop-up color that matches the other patio decor. I really love this, it’s perfect for our needs. I would’ve given them a five star instead of four but I agree with other reviews that it is difficult because some of the fasteners don’t lineup with the pre-imbedded fasteners. Overall what I was looking for. It was missing some of the screws but I expected that after reading the reviews. I also let it air out as it smelled very much like unfinished wood. Although I didn’t need to sand it, there were some splintery areas (easy fix though). I used my own screwdriver as the one they provided was child-sized (still worked just not for my hands). The only thing I would say is there is a delivery service to sign for it and they were not willing to work with me on scheduling a delivery day that worked for me. All pieces arrived in great condition, individually packaged well. Boxes were a bit heavy but manageable. All screws and parts are here, extra screws included. Took me 30-45 min to assemble. Very slight smell out of package but that should go away. Frame is steel on both sides, with an extra support leg in the middle - i ordered this model because reviews of similar cheaper daybeds with no middle support had cracked in the centre. Legs are plastic but seem fine. Wood slats are sturdy, not thin. The grey upholstery is textured with flecks of dark and light grey, not a solid grey colour. I wish it came in black, but this grey is fine too, and the overall look is modern with clean lines. Confirming the back is not upholstery as other reviews have mentioned, so this day bed has to go against a wall. Color is just right and matches our pine furnishings. Bed went togather well. It looks good from a distance. Up close the finger joints do show under the lighter tone of the stain and finish. But overall this piece looks good. It is only 74 inches long and many twin mattresses are listed as 75 inches long. Also the standard 39 inch wide mattress will overhang about 3 inches. I used a 10 inch thick mattress and am sorry. The bed is quite high and not useful as a couch now. The limitations may not be as clear in online info as they could be. I don’t usually buy furniture without trying it in-person, so I was a little worried. Great surprise, the cushion is really comfy and the frame is quite sturdy! It took me (100 lb petite sized human) about one hour to assemble all by myself. Moving it would take two people. There were small scuffs on the rattan backrest, but it will be hidden once I get decorative pillows. One of the bolts didn’t go all the way in because the hole was too small but it still functioned. High quality wood and easy to put together. The seat cushion is hard but we’re going to keep it pulled out and I’m adding a foam topper to make it comfier.
