Great! Took longer to put together by myself took around 3.5 hours. It wouldve gone faster if I didnt tighten bolts the first round. What an incredible find?! We needed to replace the bunk bed at our cabin and were struggling to find a better alternative. Not only did the bed meet Our needs and price range, but thanks to the trundle, it saved so much space without losing any beds or the motif. Assembly was easy (took just under an hour with two people). We were missing two screws for one of the collapsible legs on the trundle, but it still works without that one bar. We already had two 6” mattresses from the old bunk bed, which we reused. It’s helpful for future buyers to know that the 6” was all we could get out of the trundle for it to roll in-and-out from under the bed frame with the comforter and sheets still on. Eventually, we added an 8” mattress to the top, which was even more comfortable and didn’t block the shelf on the headboard. Some of the other reviews say this unit is great as a children’s bed, which is true. But I’d like to add that a family friend and both my parents have used the beds (including my nearly 300 lb father) and it more than supports grown adults as well. My favorite features are the dual 110v outlets with a built-in USB charger, as well as the keyholes in the frame to convert both the trundle and top frame into a full without sliding apart mid-sleep. Only downside I’ve experienced is both frames squeak frequently, but the squeaking is not really enough to create a distraction or lose sleep over. Overall, this bed has been a smashing success. It looks great, supports kids and adults alike, and saves so much of space compared to other guest or bunk beds on the market. Assembly was very straightforward and easy to follow. Like some of the other reviews mentioned, it does take some time, but I chose to build it in sections over two days, which made the process very manageable. I was able to assemble almost the entire bed myself. My husband only had to help me carry the bookcase sections upstairs because of their size. For the price, I think this bed is an excellent value. It completely changed the look and feel of my daughters room and gives her a fun, cozy setup that she genuinely enjoys. Love this daybed! For those reading these reviews, I’m starting to question the intelligence of those that are saying it took 3 people and was a pain, etc. I put this bed together by myself and it took me about 1.5-2 hours! I think some folks just can’t follow directions or read It would have been easier with help as I had to be pretty flexible to hold the spindles while securing the pieces but I was too impatient to wait on my husband. I love how it looks and it seems sturdy! Impressed with the quality with how affordable it is!
