This table is very sturdy and heavy! It works great in our short term rental dining room. The finish had imperfections upon arrival and a new table top was sent to us, but it also had some imperfections in the veneer surface. It now has a "well loved" look and a bit of a patina so it actually works well for us. The first image shows the size with one additional insert, it comes with one other insert, so it can extend to quite a length. The other two images show the type of imperfections that are across most of the surface. The white bits and the cup ring are shown after a good cleaning with a damp cloth and they are not removable. I have wanted new dinnerware for a year when I saw this pattern. I didn’t want cups, total waste for me and I wanted the double bowls. These are just fun. I know the color is different for some and I would have liked a tab more green in the tone but it’s impossible to create a color that works for everyone. I chose the Oxford Blue Willow because of its beauty and history of the design. Being this set is porcelain and not earthenware which is made by Churchill I was thinking its lighter in weight and easier to handle for my wife.
