The bronze color is a rich matte finish brown. I am 64 yo and was able to build it by myself. It did take a while (NOT 1.5 hours for me) and as another reviewer said, pushing all those plastic pieces in was rough on the hands ! It does seem very sturdy though. Well built, not flimsy at all. Don't tighten anything at all until everything is together - leave it really loose. Had to go back and loosen at first for more flexibility in connecting. 8" mattresses coming tomorrow - $99 deal each so the whole thing will be less than $500 for my grandchildren when they visit so they no longer have to bring sleeping bags or camp out on the floor ! I'd show you after the bedding is on but I'll prob forget so here it is....for now. Wendy. Ocean, NJ. Thu Oct 15 2026

Great daybed - was fairly easy to put together. Looks great in guest room and does look more expensive than price paid. Very sturdy - 12” regular twin mattress fit perfectly. These beds work well for guests in my extra bedroom. One of the slats broke the second time it was used but Wayfair sent a new set of slats and it has held up so far. Some of the slats are joined rather than single pieces of wood which can create a weak spot. It looks nice as a daybed.. Julie. Portland, OR. Fri Sep 25 2026

In the fast - paced life, we always long for a corner where our body and mind can slow down. This velvet daybed is like a life companion who understands your needs . With its soft velvet touch and a calm and advanced color tone, when placed in the living room, it becomes an exclusive space for a lazy afternoon of reading newspapers and taking a nap; when placed in the guest room, it can transform into a comfortable bed, providing a warm sleeping experience for guests.

We love it! The velvet material is soft and cozy. We found a matching grey fitted sheet and zippered pillowcases to help pull it together to make it look more like a couch. I love that it can instantly be transformed to a guest bed. My ten year old daughter helped me assemble it in an evening. It’s what we needed for our space. Note we purchased an 8 inch mattress from Wayfair as well so it would look like a couch. A thicker mattress would be too tall for the look of a couch.. B Lou. Black Hills, SD. Mon Jul 06 2026

I got the green daybed. The colors were true emerald which is lovely next to house plants. The bed feels sturdy but my only issue was the lack of a central support beam. So I just built one from some planks of wood. All in all, I am very pleased with this piece of furniture and I get to enjoy it as a couch and just sit on it getting some sunlight while reading. I got a 10 inch firm mattress for it which covers the gap. Guests have used the daybed and no complaints so far so good.. Anonymous. Chicago. Sun Aug 23 2026
