Chairs arrived well protected in the boxes. The box said that all tools required were included to put these chairs together, however that was unnecessary because the chairs were FULLY ASSEMBLED! A lot of the reviews said they were hard to assemble so I paid for the Wayfair assembler and they came out great. We got 3 of these for our back porch and there are very comfortable.
