Received our white Hunter fan very quickly. Was somewhat easy to install. We had an issue with the existing electrical box in the ceiling matching up with the base, but we resolved it. Biggest disappointment was that the light fixture is advertised as glass but ours is plastic! It was already installed when we noticed so Wayfair couldn’t do much for us. It's a beautiful fan! We bought two, one for our bedroom and one for a back room that does not get much air circulation. The glass dome is very pretty and filters the light nicely. Make sure you get smaller bulbs with lower watts, standard light bulbs do not fit within the dome and higher wattage bulbs (over 60w) produced rather harsh light. First off, this is a very good looking ceiling fan and solidly built. Secondly, this ranks at the top of my most annoyingly difficult installation. Trying to connect the light kit nearly had me returning the fan. Pro-tip, snip off some of the zip ties on the light kit wiring to allow for slightly easier installation, and I left one of three screws that holds the light kit to the fan body. Lastly, practice your meditation. It will help! But once installed, I am happy with the fan. I was a little bothered that it didn't have remote control. This fan is quite nice and exactly what I was looking for. I had two small bedrooms about 113 square feet each in need of ceiling fans+lights so they were a great fit. The fans have been installed for a couple weeks and no issues so far. However please be aware that the matte black fan is NOT 52 inches! It is 44 inches.
