Overall, I’m really happy with this trash can cabinet. Assembly was fairly straightforward overall, though a few parts of the instructions were a little confusing to understand at first. The color looks beautiful in person, and it comfortably fits a large standard kitchen trash can, even one with a lid, which I was pleasantly surprised by. *Update - we were able to make it sturdy so it didn’t wobble. There are pieces that need to be installed on the backboard to adhere it to the joining supporting boards. I thought we completed all the steps but turns out my husband forgot to tell he he hadn’t had time to put the pieces on before he called it a night. So as I was moving it and noticed the wobble I assumed it what an issue with the receptacle. So since that has been corrected, I gave my review back a star. I’m still disappointed that the outlet is on top of the receptacle rather than on the side, as pictured in the listing. Original review I really wanted to love this receptacle but it’s just not sturdy. The individual pieces are well made and give the feeling of real solid wood. I especially appreciate the way the inner cabinets work as they don’t rely on a hinge and have supporting joints to help strengthen the cabinet doors as well as keep the trash can in place. However, the receptacle as a whole is not sturdy. It sways back and forth at the slightest nudge. It’s not uneven at the bottom but possibly the middle piece of play wood separating the spaces cannot be tightened anymore than it is - and seems slightly longer than the side walls perhaps The overall look seems chic at first glance but the drawers are quite small and the supporting wood across the bottom of the drawers has to be screwed through the outside wall. Making the screw visible even with the stickers they provide to cover them up. And lastly, the outlet for the one I received was on top of the counter space rather than the side of the unit as pictured in the listing photos. This was a great upgrade for our kitchen. I love the addition of usable counter space in what was previously unusable space. Quality of the product is good although the counter top has gotten scratched. The one think I was disappointed with, is the information on the item not disclosing that it requires power for the ionizer. I scoured the product page extensively because I was concerned about that. The cabinet is nice, not super duty but def stable when for my home. The tilt out trash can we love. I wish the cupboard side had shelves, that would’ve been nice. As it is there’s a huge area of wasted sauce that shelves would’ve helped to make useful. Also it’s not white, it’s cream with faux wood paint, so just plan accordingly. Love this! I have a small kitchen and wanted an island I could use as a table. I looked at several before deciding on this one for the following reasons: 1. Drop leaf supported by solid brackets. 2. Trashcan door. 3. Fake marble top is more moisture-proof than others I looked at. 4. Locking wheels. 5. I didn't need an outlet on it. I put this together by myself (f,70). It took me most of a day as I leisurely assembled it. Instructions were good. I had one set of drawer slides backwards, but easily fixed. Piece (#37), that paper towel brackets go on, has holes different distances from the edges. Since you put this piece on while the table is upside down, the holes closest to the edges go closer to the floor (the top of the table). I had it backwards and the trashcan door hit the paper towel roll whenever I opened it. I was able to take things apart and flip it over. I had a little trouble getting the top seated properly, but with some pushing of the posterboard-like pieces (#14/#15), it slipped into place in the slot on the top. The bottom hinged door is slow close! I love having the extra storage space. It's very solid. I bought 2 bar stools to go with it. I couldn't be happier. It looks nice and was not difficult to assemble. I love the concept of this trash can, it keeps trash hidden and the drawers are great for storing trash bags however I have not been able to find plastic trash cans to fit it. Trash cans need to be no more than 10” deep, 14” wide and 20 12” tall. Would appreciate input on where to purchase that size. Also, it would be nice if the trash can could somehow be attached to the cabinet when opening it. There is about a 2” gap which allows trash to fall in between the trash can and the cabinet door. I think this is great for what it is.
