It has a middle drain in the bottom, so water does not pool at the bottom. I also love how it has a spout off the side to drain the water back into the sink. Easy to put together even though instructions are not in English. It seems to work so far. I am using to protect dishes from pests. Product had a broken piece but Wayfair sent me a replacement. Assembly instructions for a dish drainer made me chuckle. But it went together just fine and works well. Great design.
