I’m really happy with this dog crate! It’s sturdy, well-built, and looks much nicer than a traditional wire crate. It was easy to put together and feels very durable. One of the latches did come off during assembly, but it was an easy fix and hasn’t caused any issues since. Love it! It looks so much nicer than our old wire kennel. Our dog is 60 lb (shepherd but on the shorter side) and our other 25 lb and they can both cuddle in it. I recently became an unexpected mom to a huge 9-months-old border collie. I needed a good sturdy kennel and wanted one that was attractive as well. I really love this kennel. It is very large, but it's what I needed. I had some difficulty putting it together by myself, but it is very doable. I also purchased the beautiful pillow shown inside in the attached photo from Wayfair, but the pillow is a little too lofty for my dog. The description says for small dog but my dog is a medium dog and has plenty of space. I had to look at the measurements before buying to make sure he would be okay in there because the description says for a small dog. Overall it’s great, I do just wish that the gates for the dog were more heavy and sturdy because if my dog really wanted to he could probably break through it. The back board is also flimsy so I wish it was a sturdier material since it’s for a dog. That’s the only reason for a 4 star because if my dog truly wanted to break out I don’t doubt that he could. This suited our need almost exactly. I kept the door off since it’s used as a hang out instead of a true kennel. As others stated, it isn’t gray in the least but a nicer shade than a true brown. It was very easy to assemble by myself (62 yo female) except for the end when you literally have to climb inside to attach the top. Not sure why they don’t have you attach the piece with inside connects (top to sides) first and the bottom with outside connections last instead but I’d recommend trying that first.. Anonymous.
