ugh, real wood perhaps, but with a FAKE woodgrain "print" that appears to be pressure rolled onto the wood. the mismatched grain pattern really stands out on top of the existing wood as the faux grain texture streaks right through knots and doesn't line up with the natural grain of the wood. If the customer is looking for a real wood piece, and that's a selling point, why would you bother with a FAKE woodgrain print? so. freaking. dumb. also, the finish is very shiny/urethane, it would look better with just a stain over the wood. what a wasted opportunity..
