The hanging space does not allow for clothing to be see, only the piece in front, unless you sort through them. Shoes, purses, or folded clothing can fit in the shelving area. The closet itself is wonderful. It’s so multifunctional and the size is compact. However, if you do not pay for professional assembly, expect to spend at least four hours putting it together with a second person. Also, the offgassing is absolutely terrible. The closet is next to my bed and I woke up extremely stuffed up sneezing constantly And the smell is just awful. I can’t imagine putting my clothes in it yet until the smell goes away. WOW! That’s about all I can say is wow. We were pleasantly surprised by how nice this was. I found zero damage to any parts which is crazy, and it is massive! Definitely bigger than I was expecting but what I was hoping for. Usually this stuff turns out smaller than it looks. The drawers are decent size and there’s a ton of space in the cabinets. Also, the led lights that come with it are not the standard led lights that usually come with furniture.
