Ive had this installed for a couple of weeks now. Love the 3 different settings. We ordered the stem piece in chrome and it fit perfectly. The pressure is great! You can have a more controlled center flow, medium, or large rainfall. Definitely worth it.. Renea. Western New York. Sun Sep 26 2021

Ideal for retrofit or renovation, the Retro-Fit Complete Shower System installs easily and quickly. Simply replace the existing shower arm and add the system components without altering any in-wall plumbing. Once installed, it’s easy to use; a quarter-turn of the diverter lever (located at the bottom of the shower bar) switches water flow from the showerhead to the hand shower or you can have both outlets on simultaneously. Grohe StarLight is a flawless, robust, long-lasting finish designed to be extremely resistant to dirt and scratches. It features an innovative cooling channel to reduce the risk of scalding.

Very nice shower system. It can be a bit finicky to put together as the tile / wall anchors tend to not go in straight and will kick all different directions. Hands down the biggest complaint is the use of the T-10 torx bit screws / bolts used to hold the main / top fitting. The T-10 torx depths are shallow and become very easy to strip. Because of how tight the wall anchors are when inserting into the 5/16" pilot hole, it makes turning the screw / bolt difficult and easy to strip. Couple suggested improvements for Grohe would be a make the T-10 torx bit screw / bolt deeper so stripping becomes less of a potential issue. It would be nice if Grohe sold the diverter handle and cap as a replacement part as it is one of the main wear items and easy to replace. Last suggestion would be to have a longer main pipe then the 25" version. A 36" version would be perfect. My unit appears to be that long because of the 6" extension for the rain shower head. Outside of that, the rest of the system is very well made. Time will tell how it holds up but excellent as far as one of the very few retrofit shower systems out there today. Would certainly recommend to anyone considering the conversion. Thanks Wayfair. Carlos. Springfield, VA. Mon Nov 03 2025

The shower system with the thermostat is a high-performing system that will add comfort, convenience, and a touch of luxury to your showering. The hansgrohe Select shower system featuring PowderRain is a one stop shop to update your existing shower. This shower kit includes the Raindance Select S 120 2.5 GPM 3-Jet Handshower with PowderRain in Brushed Nickel, Raindance S 240 2.5 GPM 1-Jet Rain Showerhead with PowderRain in Brushed Nickel, 15-inch Raindance Showerarm in Brushed Nickel, Unica S 24-inch Wallbar in Brushed Nickel, Round Wall Outlet in Brushed Nickel, Ecostat S Thermostatic Shower Trim with Volume Control and Diverter in Brushed Nickel, and the iBox Universal Plus Rough with Service Stops. Everything needed to install this kit is included, simplifying your selection and Installation process.

Best feeling shower ever! I felt this “PowderRain” shower head at a local supplier showroom and fell in love with it. The price here is ALOT lower! My plumber was impressed with the high quality parts. Don’t position the rain shower head too high above your head or the water will not be the right force and will cool down before it gets to you. About 12-15” I think is ideal. Found this out the hard way. Iwanted it tall enough for my husband, but we installed it too high to be optimal. The settings on the handheld shower wand are nice. There are three -one that has more force for rinsing out shampoo, and another with a spiral massage, as well as the same powder rain as the wall mounted shower head. It feels like getting soaked with a soft rain. More of a relaxing sensory experience which is why the other stronger setting on the handle shower is useful. The wall rod adjusts the height of the handwand easily and can be used as a separate overhead shower as well. I purchased the brushed nickel and the wall controller does get water spots so must be cleaned accordingly. (The grab bars in my picture were purchased separately and are not included in this kit).
