[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This compact dryer has been such a nice addition for me. Just like the matching washer, I bought it for an upstairs laundry closet area where a normal size stacked washer and dryer just would not fit in my home. We are running the water lines next week and I honestly cant wait to get everything installed upstairs, but for now I’ve been trying it out in the basement and have been really impressed with it so far. One thing I had to learn at first is that heat pump dryers work differently than a traditional dryer. I was expecting clothes to come out feeling really hot, so at first I thought something was wrong, but once I read about how they work it made a lot more sense. It’s more energy efficient and much gentler on your clothes, which I really appreciate. The 40 minute quick cycle has been great for smaller loads, and I also love that you can set it to keep tumbling to help prevent wrinkles if you don’t unload it right away. The drum light is also a great feature and makes it much easier to see everything inside. Another thing I really like is the lint filter design. It has a nice double filter setup with very fine mesh that does a great job catching lint. I also love that this is ventless, because that opens up so many more options for where you can put it. It’s wonderful for spaces where you normally couldn’t install a dryer, and I also like that you can optionally hook it up to drain automatically instead of having to empty the water container. Another nice bonus is that it’s WiFi connected. I wouldn’t say that’s something I absolutely need, but it is really nice to have. PS: I like giving my smart appliances ridiculous names, so this new washing wizard duo is Cynthia Spinerivo & Dry-ana Grande.. Tommybluez. Buffalo. Wed Apr 22 2026

Works great. Took a while to get here which was annoying but the dryer holds up good for the price.. Catherine F. Wed Aug 19 2026

The Samsung Ventless Hybrid Heat Pump Dryer is an energy efficient, cost-effective and gentle way to dry your clothes. It is easier to install because of it's ventless design, and easier to use and control with Wi-Fi connectivity using the SmartThings App.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Samsung's Large Capacity Ventless Hybrid Heat Pump Electric Dryer with Wi-Fi (DV45DG6000HWA2) is a welcome addition to an aging laundry room. This dryer was made with large families and exhausted parents in clear focus! I love that I can just throw the clothes from the washer in, and trust it to have the right settings to dry without much more than hitting "start". If we had an upstairs closet, the ventless option here would warrant serious consideration for us bringing it there, so the family could easily pull items as needed. Since there is no vent, the water tank becomes the only hassle - but its not much of one - it requires a bit of care if you don't have an adjacent bathroom or laundry sink, since it is about 2.5' long. As others have said, it would have been a great option to have a setting to push the water out an optional hose (since it likely shares a room with your washer & the drain is most likely there already! My other suggestion is a better lint trap - this does a good job of collecting lint; however, the booklet design of nested filters makes cleaning it out a hassle vs older dryers where you could merely roll up the accumulated lint from the single-sheet mesh screen without ever leaving the dryer For each of these i'd deduct one star; however for the ease and benefit of the mobile application, energy monitoring/savings, and sensor drying, it grabs some back. I'm giving this 4.5/5 stars - only because it's such an obvious benefit that could have been realized to flush the tank automatically, does it not quite gain back the last half star. Otherwise, I'm happy with this upgrade to the look, feel, and intelligence of the laundry room!. Lissieb. Winter Garden. Thu Nov 28 2024

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have been looking to replace our all-in-one stackable washer and dryer forever. We finally decided on the Samsung DV25FG62B0BEA2. This set is a solid choice if you need a compact, apartment-friendly dryer that still feels modern and capable. Its 24-inch footprint makes it easy to fit into tight laundry closets or smaller utility rooms, and it pairs well with Samsung’s compact washer lineup for a clean, stackable setup. I was not prepared for how much extra space we were going to have! We can actually add shelving, which is a dream come true! What I liked • Space-saving design: Ideal for condos, apartments, and smaller homes where a full-size 27-inch unit won’t fit. • Good everyday performance: Handles typical weekly loads well (towels, tees, office wear) with consistent drying results. • Convenient features: Useful cycle options and sensor-based drying help reduce guesswork and prevent over-drying. • Quiet operation: Generally suitable for installs near living spaces. What could be better • Smaller capacity than full-size units (what did I expect?): Bulky items (comforters, heavy blankets) may require multiple cycles or careful loading. • Cycle times can feel longer: Compact dryers often take longer than full-size models, especially with heavier fabrics. • Best results require load discipline: Overloading (easy to do in a smaller drum) can reduce drying consistency. Bottom line If you’re prioritizing fit and flexibility over maximum capacity, the DV25FG62B0BEA2 is a practical compact dryer that delivers reliable day-to-day drying and a modern user experience. It’s best for 3-4 person households or anyone with limited laundry space who still wants a reputable, feature-forward & reputable brand. I’d highly recommend! 8.5/10. Lamademoiselled. Oak Park. The dryer works great. Thanks for asking. The delivery team was awesome. They used harness straps and guided the dryer upstairs to the laundry room. The delivery team said the use of harness straps would avoid damages to the property and merchandise as the delivery of the washer. While delivering the dryer, the techs also noticed scratch damages to the washer door, which was visible to us with sunlight. The washer was delivered by Appliance Home Delivery techs, which resulted in multiple damages to the exterior home stucco at the porch entry,, noticed while the owner, Edgar, of Appliance Home Delivery was visiting to address damages to the interior walls, which was reported to the property manager, scrapes and dirt on the interior walls, which was cleaned up by the owner of the Appliance Home Delivery, and scratches on the doors of the washer, noticed by Appliance Home Delivery techs while delivering the dryer, which was remedied by Wayfair, with discounts applied to the costs of the washer. Damages to the exterior house stucco are still unresolved. Thanks.. T. Mon Sep 07 2026
