Pros: it is made of cast iron, heavy, which is nice. It was not hard to put together and hook up. It look nice decoratively Cons: when we hooked it up there was a very small leak on the top of the iron spout. Luckily we bought 2 and used the spout out of the other one, will need to return 1 or buy another spout. The holes on the top cap piece, if you lined them up and used the screws it left a small gap, without the screws it laid flat but is loose without the screws. This could not have been more straightforward and easy to install. 4" pole in the basement man cave. Cut to size, then merged them together around the pole. Used some putty to fill the minute separation found on one side and sanded it down clean and smooth. Caps on the end are super easy to couple and attach, and again, a bead of latex caulk to hold and fill the crack. Sprayed the entire thing with Rustoleum primer/spray in white gloss.
