This is the perfect size for a makeup vanity. I love the leather upholstery so it can easily be wiped clean. The swivel feature is very useful and although assembly is very simple, it's tedious. The base certainly stays put while you're seated, doesn't slide very easily. The seat holds me just fine, but it is a vanity chair so it's more of a stool in size. It's absolutely adorable.. Love this chair, except for the cheap-looking super shiny gold legs. I may do what another customer did, paint the legs an antique gold. The blue is a beautiful muted blue.
