The bookcase is very attractive. It was pretty easy to put together but it took a couple of hours to assemble the whole unit. The big negative for me was that the base units were felt solid - made of a heavier duty press board but the bookshelves were made of a much less sturdy particle board. It won’t hold much weight. The bookcase fits the space perfectly, it is tall and narrow. Still trying to determine what fits on each of the shelves as it does not actually fit hardcover books upright, which is the only negative. I can place the books on their side but can’t fit as many.
