The holes for the nail on the table top were filled with some wood substance plugs. That would be fine, except the grain in the wood plugs is contrary to the grain of the table top. I do love this table and thought I was really smart with the leaf being built in. But that means the table top expands while the corner legs stay in place. It extends the table top, but not the number of chairs you can fit on one side without someone straddling the leg. Kind of a bummer for my planning for 10 with 4 on either side and 2 at the ends.. Michelle. Hampton, NH. Sun Sep 27 2026

This dining table has a traditional look and an heirloom-inspired quality that's made to outlast changing trends. The trestle-style base has highly detailed legs for a nod to old-school craftsmanship. With enough space to seat eight, this table is great for larger families or those who love to entertain.

I loved this table when we got it. There was a very large flaw about the size of a dollar bill that I decided to live with. Then the first time we used it my glass sweat on the surface and it left a mark. I thought it would dry, the mark remained. Every drip leaves a permanent mark. When I tried to wipe the whole area, I took the gray was off. That was unacceptable to me so I lightly sanded the surface, filled the hole, gray washeded the surface and then put a finish coat on the whole thing. Now I love it and it looks better with our buffet. That said with all the work I put into, it’s pretty costly.. Kim. Azle, TX. Thu Jun 18 2026
