This is a great pergola for the price! It was a lot to put together. One of the pieces got dented in the set up process but it’s minor. The louvred top is easy to adjust. Pretty nice and sturdy. It comes in 7 boxes + box with screens and curtains if that’s the model purchased. I wish the assembly instructions were in box one and that the instructions told you where the hardware was, The instructions and hardware are in box 5. Make sure all parts are not damaged before starting assembly especially the key structure parts. Some of my louvers were dented but the didn’t effect my assembly. They were replaced, but it took a week to get the replacements. Wayfair and manufacturer were responsive and easy to deal with but it took time to get the replacement parts. I assembled the structure and later just added replacement louvers. Posts and crossbeams are aluminum, louvers and bases are steel. Overall very happy with it.. Witold. Colchester, CT. Love this canopy, it provides a good amount of shade but still lets some light through and the price was very reasonable. I received it within a week of ordering and all parts were in good shape, with the exception of one bolt head that had a manufacturing defect. It took about 4 hours to build with two people and required a ladder. It's not complicated to put together, just requires a lot of tightening bolts. Getting the first joists on while also holding the bracing was a little challenging but once you get a couple it on it can hold It's own weight a bit more. It will require being attached to the ground and wall to maintain stability. Pro tip: remove the label stickers as you go so you don't have to climb back up on the ladder later to take them off. Love this arbor! The instructions were very user‑friendly, and overall the assembly was straightforward. It definitely requires two people to put together, but once you get going it comes together nicely. I did have to redrill the holes where the rail attaches to the side lattice, but aside from that the process was simple. My biggest tip is to lay out all the pieces before starting so you can familiarize yourself with the components. Doing that made the assembly much easier. Very happy with the final result.. Diana.
