The shipment packaging is extremely well done and even though there was damage to the boxes, the product was sufficiently protected had no damage due to shipping. The 12x20 pergola I ordered is close to 1000 pounds shipping in 7 boxes so the heaviest single box is about 150 lbs so two people are needed to move it around. The instructions recommended 4 people for the install. I had my brother to help but due to the weight I wanted 6 people (one at each post) to move the assembled product to minimize damage to the frame. High quality parts all around but because it’s all aluminum that is great for lower weight but it is still 1/2 ton of weight that needs to be moved around during an installation. Im so excited to put this together and set up the garden. The packaging came in easy to move pieces. I’ll update the review with photos once it’s all set up. Update this was a lot of work to put together but definitely worth it. Nice, sturdy pergola for the price. Easy assembly and it looks great once it's up. Two boxes came, both damaged on one end and parts had actually made it out of one box, in the end some minor scrapes and dents from shipping and the 4 solar lights were missing. This pergola is much more solid and sturdy than most you’ll see at the big box stores. Instructions are straightforward and everything is labeled. I’m happy with it overall. Not to say there aren’t issues. Some of the welds are poor quality. I also had to deal with a couple of dents that made it hard to join pieces. All the bolts are 10mm, even for the base, which seems to be undersized. The shipping box looked like it was dropped from a moving vehicle…it was really bashed up but fortunately everything was in pretty good shape.
