Have it up for the second season. Good quality but should be made stronger where poles are attached. Had to put gorilla tape over the tares. update - this past summer it tore so much it has to be replaced. Someone should design these with stronger fabric. Update july 2024. The quality of the awning seems very good and it is attractive. I would agree with all of the reviews I read about how hard it was to assemble. Love the way it turned out. It’s definitely a two person job. It was fairly simple assembly until you get to the roofing part. Putting on the metal roof was a challenge, but workable with two people- one on a ladder. The holes lined up exactly with all pieces, but a few times we had to maneuver them and adjust to line things up. We did line up all of the roofing pieces on the ground before beginning as shown in the instructions. Highly suggest that. After assembly, it didn’t not feel as sturdy as we wanted, so we mounted ours to 4 x 4’s and staked those into the ground with rebar. Feels sturdy now. We are very pleased with it.. Kellye. Attractive and so-far sturdy. Only issue I have is with the assembly instructions specifically regarding the curtains and bug screens. They guide us not clear regarding proper placement of them. I am certain they are not installed properly but there is only so many times that I will put up and take down the panels before I surrender. The illustrations do not jive with the instructions.
